About

My restless journey began in my homeland, Hawaii, where I grew up in foster care and aged out of the system. It was common to move with minimal belongings, sometimes with nothing at all. I was that weird kid that wore the same clothes day after day.

With decades of travel experience, including nine years of car camping in the USA, I’ve also explored Europe and Mexico.

In 2019, a hiking accident changed my life, prompting me to slow down.

Previously, I would kayak for days, hike long distances, and camp along the river.

My experiences range from living on a boat to spending nights in forests without a vehicle, off the grid, with no electricity or running water for years (before solar accessibility as it is today).

I’ve been full-time over three years, balancing an online business and coordinating care for my adult autistic son in an independent living program.
