Roy made it back with no explanation, just a mug that said “Coffee First.” He dropped into a seat inside an RV like a skeleton who had been through something. Before anyone could ask where he had been, Roy made his priorities clear.
There was no apology, explanation, or account of where he had been. Roy operates on his own time zone, so I was mainly thankful that I did not need to use his bail fund.
This time.
The Comments Revealed Where Roy Went
I originally thought the details of Roy’s disappearance would remain a mystery. Then several followers commented that they owned the same mug. That changed the entire story.
Roy had not been wandering around without a plan. He had apparently been visiting members of the 4Runner Nomad audience, helping himself to their coffee, and moving along before I could track him down.
More evidence surfaced from one of his stops. A photo showed Roy beside a motorcycle, dressed in his leather vest and wearing a new skull cap.
Yes, the skeleton picked up a skull cap.
He looked completely comfortable leaning against the motorcycle, as though this had always been part of his schedule. The biker in the background did not seem concerned, which raises more questions than it answers.
Watch Your Coffee Supply
Roy still refuses to identify everyone he visited or explain how he traveled between stops. I cannot rule out motorcycles, RVs, or followers who unknowingly helped transport him across the country.
His priorities stayed consistent throughout the trip. Wherever Roy went, someone apparently kept him supplied with coffee.
Anyone who owns the same mug may already be on his route. Keep an eye on your campsite, check the passenger seat before pulling away, and consider having an extra cup ready.
As for the skull cap, I have decided not to ask.
